14 people have been killed in a shooting at a bar in the South African town of Soweto, near Johannesburg, police said on Sunday.
Police lieutenant Elias Mawela said: “We were called in the early hours of the morning, around 12:30pm (22:30 GMT). Police initially confirmed 12 people were dead after arriving at the scene but two later died from their injuries, he added.
