HOUSTON – The parents of Jordan Capuchino, 20, are asking for the public’s help in finding and identifying those responsible for their son’s death.
Jordan was shot dead early Saturday morning after Houston Police Department investigators said he and friends were robbed by a group of men.
“He is my world. He is my world,” said Laura Capuchino, his mother.
Jordan is the youngest of six children and is described as a good man with a big heart.
“Jordan is very loving and caring. He is young and will help people,” said Joel Capuchino.
The detective told KPRC that Jordan and his friends were in a nightclub parking lot when a group of men approached inside a pickup truck and then pointed guns at them.
Court records say the suspects tracked down a $7,000 gold chain worn by one of Jordan’s friends.
According to police, Jordan and his friends followed the men responsible in their own vehicle and they eventually came face to face with the suspects.
The men then opened fire on Jordan’s pickup truck near the intersection of Maybank Drive and Silber Road.
Jordan was taken to the hospital but did not survive.
Police arrested Daniel Medrano, 20, in connection with the case.
He was charged with murder.
The Capuchinos told KPRC that they would not stop fighting until everyone involved or involved in their son’s murder was behind bars.
“We will find out who did this. I said, ‘God, God has the final say! So on a lot of things, you take the wheel and bring all those responsible to justice,” said Laura Capuchino.
If you have any information about this case or those responsible, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
