2022 Emmy nominations: HBO’s ‘Succession’ tops the table with 25 noms – National
Nominations for the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday, and HBO’s Heir took the top spot with 25 nominations, including best drama.
In a year that continues to see streaming platforms dominate the television space, Apple TV Ted Lasso and HBO’s White Lotus also received 20 nominations each.
In total, HBO received 140 nominations, Netflix received 105, Apple TV + received 51, and Disney + received 34 nominations.

During the virtual ceremony, HBO’s JB Smoove Curb your enthusiasm, and Melissa Fumero of NBC’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine announcement of nominations.
Martin Short, Sandra Oh and Seth Rogen were among the Canadians taking part in the race. Short-born Hamilton received a nod for lead actor in a comedy series for There are only murders in the buildingwhere he will compete with co-star Steve Martin.
Nepean, Ont., Oh Hometown is running for lead actress in a TV series for Killing New Year’s Eve, her fourth nomination in the category for this show.
Rogen who grew up in Vancouver was nominated for a supporting actor in a feature series or a limited series or anthology for Pam & Tommy, a show about Pamela Anderson’s sex tape leak.
