When it comes to fashion, there are simply more options for women’s fashion than men’s. And while I’m comfortable shopping in any department, regardless of the gender shown (love the flannel shirt from the men’s section at Target!)we thought it would highlight big and tall retailers, especially when there are significantly fewer options for big and tall men.
We have rounded a number Love Big & Tall before, but we’ve added a few more to the list! Below, we’ve shared some overviews of some of our favorite stores for plus-size men!
8 big and tall retailers to bookmark now!
ASOS DESIGN knitting set of swirl designs at ASOS.com
Their men’s plus size section hit the fashion market a few years ago, and we’re all excited! We certainly appreciate the fact that this brand leads the big and tall retailers that are serving up style and fashion for boys…
ASOS There are sweatpants, outerwear, and wide-soled shoes that are just right for the office. While they do come out of the gate providing us with a variety of sizes, you’ll have to scroll to see what the outfit looks like for someone big and tall.
Big Lad’s clothes
Shop through sizes 8XL at LargeLadClothing.com
By far, covering most of the big and tall retailers, Large Lad Clothing has an 8X or 70 inch waist.
We especially love their Chinos pants, as well as their nylon outerwear options – perfect for guys who love the outdoors!
Men’s long-sleeved button-up shirt – Goodfellow & Co™ at Target.com
Although their in-store offering is lacking and in need of improvement, Target still offers a wide range of products for Big & Tall shoppers. With over 12 product categories, including swimwear and outerwear, you’re sure to find what you need.
If they start doing what they’ve been doing in store, for larger departments we’ll get to work on something and make sure they can supply the big retailers and other high run for their money!
Backwoods Boxer Briefs 3.0 at Bearskn.com
We first learned about Bearskin through menswear blogger Bruce Sturgell of Chubstr!
Bearskin makes super comfortable underwear in a variety of cuts and colors, and was founded by Bjorn Ryan-Gorman and his partner, Jody Koenig.
So if you or your partner are looking for some new pairs of briefs, you should definitely check them out!
Harbor Bay easy-care floral print sports shirt at DestinationXL.com
As a supermarket that offers more premium brands such as Brooks Brothers, Cole Haan and True Ton in extended sizes, the brand also has its own lines.
We enjoyed their collaboration with DJ Khaled! DXL As one of the choices for big and tall retailers, they’re almost like Macy’s or Nordstrom for plus size menswear, so be prepared to use the filters on your search to find the exact one. what you want!
Shop through 10XL at KingSize.com
This online store is the place to buy hard-to-find accessories, like long ties or slings. You can score what you are looking for through size 10XL!
We hope the brand works with more bloggers, to show shoppers how their clothes look on different body types!
Westport Big & Tall
Westport Black Space Dye Slub Stripe Crew Sweater at WestportBigandTall.com
If you’re the type of man who values fabrics and construction, then Westport Big & Tall is the luxury brand for you. Their aesthetic is similar to J.Crew or Vineyards, but you know, they really want to serve large scale clients.
Like King Size, we hope they increase the variety of models, so shoppers can see what the clothes will look like!
Large & Tall Apt. 9® Premier Flex Performance Shorts at Kohls.com
While Kohl’s products are similar to others on this list, they stand out in the Outdoors & Recreation and Big Guys Sportswear divisions. If you’re looking for a pair of camo pants or a polo shirt featuring your favorite team’s logo, this is the place to shop.
These are just a few of the Big & Tall retailers that are making moves for Big & Tall shoppers…
While we have highlighted Big and high influencers to followthere are some great deals by indie designers, like Big Man Culture, Volare, MVP Collection (as shown above)and Brandon Kyle who are making their mark in men’s fashion.
