Happy Saturday, happy family! Don’t think I’ve forgotten about Friday with Oscar. I have a classic fall coat and a great cocktail. But boy, oh a week. This week, I moved seven pine trees from my property, and was it an effort of patience?! The power company had to come and take down the power line because some trees were located quite close to the line. It’s easy to power off. But a completely different scenario to get the power back. After the $200 reconnection fee, the lights come back on around 8pm… I still don’t have internet; AT&T is scheduled to have a power outage between 4 and 8 p.m. Friday. Happy time!
So I’m getting ready for a cocktail this week and can’t wait to put my feet up for the duration of the weekend. My best friend is at my side, and I have a delicious cocktail called the Americano that is easy to make. I’ve been enjoying Campari kick lately, so this drink fits the bill. Come in.
