ABC’s ‘Big Sky’ Season 3 More Rosanna Arquette – The Hollywood Reporter
ABC’s Big sky is adding to its third season cast.
Rosanna Arquette will reappear on the series created by David E. Kelley, also subtitled: The show will be called Big Sky: Deadly Trails for next season, as its main case revolves around a hike in a remote area.
Arquette (Ratch, Pulp Fiction) will play Virginia “Gigi” Cessna, the charismatic and fast-talking mother of Jenny (Katheryn Winnick). Gigi is also a world-class con artist who used her childhood Jenny in some of her opportunities, which angered Jenny more and more. When Gigi returns to Helena, Montana, to find her latest trick, Jenny catches her, and the mother and daughter must work through their relationship.
Big sky will also feature new regulars from Jensen Acrum and Reba McEntire, who will also be narrating the season. Jenny, Cassie (Kylie Bunbury) and newly appointed police chief Beau Arlen (Aprising) investigate a loss incident after a trip upriver led by the uncharacteristic woman Sunny Barnes (McEntire).
Arquette recently filmed a role (as herself) in Borat Next Moviefilm series Peacock, directed by Jason Woliner and will appear in Netflix’s Florida Man, executive produced by Jason Bateman. Her recent credits also include Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q (reprising a role from the original series) and 2018 film The Etruscan Smile, opposite Brian Cox. She is represented by Greene Talent, Ellen Meyer Management and Gang Tire.
