Did you hear that? It’s just the sound of i totally lost it. Bayonetta 3This morning’s launch date has been confirmed as October 28. The only way this could be more perfect is if Nintendo chooses to activate us witches on Halloween itself.
Nintendo has rolled out a new trailer for the game with a launch date. For the record, October 28 is the same release date as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Maybe I shouldn’t interfere, but honestly… I’m betting on Bayonetta in that match. The game looks like fiercer than ever, with Bayonetta demonstrating her new Demon Masquerade, as well as the ability to take direct control of her demonic countrymen.
The trailer revealed a bit more about the game’s story: Bayonetta is dealing with the Homunculi, an artificial threat separate from demons and angels. She is assisted by her sister Jeanne and old friends Luka, Rodin and Enzo in this endeavor. She also stars a newcomer named Viola, a witch in training who will be playable at least in the short segments. I can speculate with you for hours about the potential revelations this has for the story, but I’ll save that for Kaser Focus.
However, I will make a small point from English page of the game: The game will feature “a group of virtual Bayonettas, each of which is better than the last.” I’m still not sure what that means, but adding Bayonetta is always a good thing. October can’t come fast enough for me.
