Before GTA 6, rate every Grand Theft Auto game
1. Grand Theft Auto V / GTA Online (Original Release: 2013, Xbox 360 & PS3)
Dots, GTA DRAW is the best GTA game ever made.
GTA DRAW easily the best-looking and best-playing game in the entire franchise, and much of that has to do with Rockstar’s attention to detail. You can bang traffic cones, observe animals in the forest, and read labels on cereal boxes. Hell, you can watch TV or even surf the Internet in a completely fictional game. It’s wild.
GTA DRAW It’s also a joy to play, and in a single session you can alternate between the chaos of blowing up ships or robbing banks to skydive in the desert at night. Great.
Then you have GTA Online. Yes, some prices are ridiculous and honing to get the latest and greatest toys can take forever. But GTA Online It’s still a playground that I’ve spent hundreds of hours on. Drive around the mountains, do missions, race cars, start big gunfights with the police — this is all you did in GTA before, but being able to do it all with friends will revive the experience.
The best part is, every few months or so, there’s a new vehicle or mode to play with. GTA Online constantly changing, and these updates — for free — add brand new game systems. All years after release GTA Online and I’m still playing the game; it still feels fresh.
Interesting facts: While GTA fans have spent years searching UFO, ghost, and Big Foot across many games, most of those searches don’t have many results. Rockstar seems to have noticed this as a trend because they’ve included all three of them GTA V. That inclusion will help explains why the legend of Mount Chiliad is so powerful in motivating people to search for a legendary jet.
Nostalgia aside, like someone who set some embarrassing hours for all GTA game, WOODI WOULD is the culmination of the series.
