Border Force strikes detailed by union including dates affecting airports in December | UK News
The Border Force union will go on strike on key dates in December, the PCS union said.
The strikes will take place on 23 to 26 and 28 to 31 December, affecting Birmingham Airport, Cardiff Airport, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Manchester and the Port of Newhaven.
The Trade and Public Service Union said it would go on strike consecutively through Christmas over wages, jobs and working conditions.
Mark Serwotka, general secretary of the trade union PCS, said: “This is a crisis.”
He added that workers “have no choice” but to go on strike, with 40,000 civil servants using food banks.
