CCTV Footage shows Airplane Handling Luggage At Airport STEALING Before crashing into Nearby Island!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Gosh. A baggage handler from Seattle-Tacoma . International Airport was able to steal a plane and take off from the runway without ever being questioned. Sadly, authorities believe the incident may have been a suicide attempt.

The incident took place in 2018, but new CCTV footage was released by Port of Seattle. The video shows the staff Richard Russell Go through security in a t-shirt that says “The sky is unlimited.” A very strange message in retrospect!

A few hours later, he reached the runway, where he pulled a Alaska Airlines‘Q400 Turboprop into position. He then took off all by himself – and no one seemed to notice the odd behavior before it was too late!!

The 29-year-old, who works at the airport, spoke to air traffic control at the time. During the transition, he admitted that he had very little knowledge of flight, or as he called it “mumbo jumbo,” but he did put “a little gas” on the plane to “going to see the Olympics” (held in South Korea that year). When a pilot tries to direct him to a safe place to land the plane while fuel is said to be running low, Richard reveals that he is not ready to land. Then he wondered aloud:

“This is probably like being in prison for life, huh? I mean, I hope it’s for a guy like me. “

Well… What a thing to say at a time like that, and also so indifferent.

The air traffic controller calmly redirected the baggage handler’s attention back to the task at hand – safely landing the plane. Unfortunately, Russell didn’t do it at all. He crashed into a nearby island in Puget Sound, not far from the airport where he had stolen the plane.

An bystander who recorded the aftermath then witnessed ominous plumes of smoke. The FBI ultimately ruled Richard’s death a suicide. While footage of his time in the air has been viewed before, watching Richard casually make it through security and into the pilot’s seat of the plane in this new CCTV footage certainly makes you feel uncomfortable. What a sad incident… and what a shock Richard was able to steal a plane with such ease! We know he’s an employee, but wow! We expect Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to strengthen its security protocols in the years to come. React, longtime readers?
