The cozy ladies rejoice, September is upon us and the hibernation season is near. Think overcast evenings, cool mornings, hot coffee on the ice, and the return of coats that have been stashed at the bottom of your closet, well, forever up until now.

As we prepare to shrink back and adjust our self-care routine to include rest, recuperation, and a healthy dose of pumpkin spice, your wardrobe is likely in need of a new addition. similar shaking because it eventually cools down enough to wear more than linen and linen alone. .

Today Team Zoella is sharing their favorite high street fashion picks as we welcome the new semester feeling to September, as we prepare to enter our full hygge era.

Lareese’s pick…

I love this time of year. As soon as there was a slight bite in the air, I was ready to put on my coat and layers. I just feel more connected (read: mature) when there’s an outer layer involved! True to form, I chose a structured groove from NA-KD to pair with white jeans, a tank top – so I can peel the layers off if the sun comes out and flats to create the perfect panties, mid – seasonal outfit. Of course, all of the 50 shades of beige…

Liv’s choice…

Give me all classes!! Honestly, this is my favorite time of year for fashion. I like layering oversized shirts with a classic pair of trousers (this one is a bit edgy) and a pair of chunky boots so I don’t have to worry about slits. Sunglasses are always needed for those late summer golden hours.

Charlotte’s Picks…

It’s no secret that I’m a girly summer all through and the prospect of cooler weather doesn’t exactly make me happy, but while it’s still warm enough to not have to wear tights, I can handle it! I like a bit of layering as a way to keep my summer items wearable but still warm as the seasons change and this pleated shirt from Warehouse is the perfect choice to wear under a t-shirt. and oversized skirts. I also wanted a trench coat forever but could never find the perfect one so that’s my quest for this upcoming A/W! Add in a few staples like jumpers and neutral skirts and I’m starting to say goodbye to summer beach days, Aperol and Crocs weather. Chirp

Stradivarius, Long trench coat, £49.99
Nasty Gal, Satin Color Block Long Sleeve Shirt, £35
& Other Stories, Mock Neck Knit Jumper, £85
H&M, Mini Dress, £17.99

Danielle’s pick…

My top transition right now would have to be a felt coat. Great to wear if you’re feeling a bit chilly and one with this tweed texture will get you through the end of winter (with an added coat, of course!). I pretty much lived in knitting until May and I love the look of this one, I think it would also look great with a skirt/jeans/trousers. This little leather skirt can be worn now and would look great with thick black tights and a jumpsuit. And for boots, who doesn’t need to invest in a few cowboy boots right now?!

H&M, Single Bust Blazer, £34.99
H&M, oversized jacquard jumper, £24.99
H&M, Mini Dress, £17.99
Mango, leather cowboy ankle boots, £129

Lily’s Choice…

Get ready for cozy, casual and transitional weather! Totally obsessed with this time of year – I’m a fall lover all the time! This look is my usual transitional staple. I like a brown jacket/overcoat with white jeans and a t-shirt. With gold accents from the chain sunglasses to give the outfit a little extra boost. With this outfit, I’ll also be pairing some gold jewelry – specifically, the choker and necklace. For a neater look, wear a long wool scarf!

Weekdays, Luciana wool coat, £85
Nasty Gal, Round Sunglasses, £8
H&M, high-waisted wide-leg jeans, £24.99
Arket, Heavyweight T-shirt, £25
Arket, New Balance 327 Trainers, £105

Darcey’s Choice…

I love transitional pieces, fall fashion is my calling! Black jeans are the go-to when the cold weather kicks in, the Weekday jeans are good quality and reasonably priced. I also love a big cardigan for fall when it’s not cold enough to wear a coat but you need a little extra layer of outerwear. The vest is also very suitable for this weather, don’t rush to choose this black H&M vest! Black trousers and a baggy sweater are also great transitions and work interchangeably with all the other pieces I linked above.

Weekdays, Leyla Oversize Cardigan, £55
Weekday, Rowe’s ultra-high straight jeans, £40
H&M, Puffer vest, £29.99
