Coronavirus: Has your exercise capacity reduced after COVID? Here’s what new study says
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines long-term COVID as a group of long-term symptoms that some people experience after they have COVID-19 and calls these people persistent illness. WHO lists fatigue, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, problems with memory, concentration or sleep, persistent cough, chest pain, difficulty speaking, muscle pain, loss of smell or taste, depression or Anxiety and fever are common symptoms of persistent COVID.
This is the first time that exercise intolerance has been considered a sign of persistent COVID.
