NEW DELHI: Education Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday called on US educational institutions to work with India in the rapid transformation of the education and skills training landscape. The Minister also called for greater academic cooperation between higher education institutions in both countries to offer joint, joint degree and dual degree programs.

He also called for strengthening cooperation in the fields of research and skill development between the two countries. “India is putting a lot of effort into training, re-skilling and upskilling its youth. He added that India has a large young population that is an asset to any industry globally if they receive the focused training and capacity building required by the industry.
