Disney cartoons from Frozen Team – The Hollywood Reporter

Disney Animation revealed frozen Lovers Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are teaming up to write this feature Treatythis will show how the wish star that so many Disney characters have wished for has become. West story Oscar winner Ariana DeBose will voice the film, which is due out in 2023 and will be a watercolor animation style mixed with CG.

“How did the wish begin?” Lee asked at D23 Friday, referring to all the wishes that happen in Disney animated movies.

Treaty revolves around Asha (DeBose), a 17-year-old girl who sees darkness in her kingdom that no one else does, so in a moment of despair, she pleads to the stars. The answer to Asha’s wish was for a real star to fall from the sky to help in her journey. Debose was a surprise guest, as neither the film nor her participation was known. She entertained the crowd with a song from the film titled “More of Us”, while Alan Tudyk had previously taken to the stage to announce that he would be voicing a goat named Valentino in the film.

Buck will direct with Fawn Veerasunthorn. It was produced by Peter Del Vecho and Juan Pablo Reyes, and features songs by Julia Michaels.

Disney also provides a brief look at Strange world at panel D23 on Friday, with Jake Gyllenhaal making his debut at the Anaheim, California convention to portray his role as Searcher Clade, a member of a family of adventurers traveling together to a mysterious land on an important mission.

Director Don Hall and screenwriter Qui Nguyen took to the stage to share a new trailer for the film, which stars Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White and Lucy Liu. Then, as Liu notes, there’s a clip that even the cast hasn’t seen. The clip shows an action-packed outing scene in which Ethan Clade (Young-White) meets his grandfather Jaeger Clade (Quaid) for the first time.

Scenes from the film, which opens on November 22, were not shared online, but a new image is available.

Disney also revealed a look at Iwaju: an pan-African sci-fi series produced by the African entertainment company Kugali and directed by Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, production designer Hamid Ibrahim and cultural consultant Tolu Olowofoyeko.

D23 continues on Saturday, with a panel that will cover news from the worlds of Marvel, Star Wars and more.
