The EA app will focus more on social gaming and will allow players to import their friends lists from Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation accounts.
For existing Origin users, the data migration will be relatively straightforward – games, local and cloud saves, and friends lists will automatically migrate to the EA app.
The EA app is only available to PC players, and Mac players will still have to use Origin to launch the game.
