Q: I just wanted to give you the opportunity to speak directly to Elizabeth Warren… Say exactly what you want to say to her to… change her mind. [on Bitcoin].
Margot Paez: Elizabeth Warren really doesn’t understand Bitcoin, that’s for sure. I find it ironic that Elizabeth Warren has been an advocate for those who are against the banking system, against Wells Fargo, against Chase, against HSBC, against all those companies that take advantage of people during this crisis. financial crisis.
And she used to be an advocate. And in fact, I’ve heard her talk about the pandemic, and she’s really critical of the amount of bank fees that are being applied to people during the pandemic. And she was right… Why would you charge people just to keep their money in your bank account when they, again, have no choice but to put it in the account. your bank, right?
Again, that’s one of those other proprietary situations where you don’t have the freedom of choice in banking.
So I’m going to challenge her to think what is the real solution you want? How do you really want to solve this problem? Because there’s a current solution, it’s called Bitcoin, and it’s a solution where people can really get out of the current banking system, hold their own money and not have to worry about fees. , don’t have to worry about banks taking advantage of them because it’s their money and they’re ‘managing it themselves or they’re managing it in their community…
Want community banking? You can have a community bank with Bitcoin… These are the solutions I think Elizabeth Warren wants [but] looks like she doesn’t really want to help people…
In the end… Bitcoin is a lifesaver. And what’s wrong with everyone having a lifeboat?
