Boost is a brand new gameplay feature for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. It’s no surprise that Epic introduces a new game mechanic to a brand new chapter, and it’s a pretty unique pick.
Boosts are essentially in-game advantages that a player can earn during a match, but they are quite overwhelming. Some of them are downright broken. The advantages they offer can give gamers an incredible boost over their opponents.

The first thing to note is that rounders must live long enough in a match to unlock them. That’s basically all it asks for in the first place, so it’s pretty easy to get some cool perks.
One such benefit is the increased magazine size for pistols. These aren’t really broken promotional guns that aren’t used often, and more ammo won’t make them tame.
a second fortress boost is the ability to drive health increase without consuming gasoline. Its second half is quite strong, but not necessarily broken.
The player has two options and can return for free once. Then it costs 100 gold bars. That’s still a pretty low price for a potentially winning boost to the game.
Players can have four extras, which appear at random times during a match. In the end, they can be quite overwhelming.
One of the more broken options is called Bloodhound. If Fortnite gamers have this, they will briefly mark any player they hit with a bow or marksman rifle. That can be very advantageous, especially since the bow is so prominent.
Bush Warrior has the ability to make camping in the woods a real tactic, and the results are pretty overwhelming. It regenerates health and partial shield while inside large foliage.
Light fingers are one increase Fortnite allowing gamers to reload their light guns faster. This makes the spray and prayer meta even more dangerous.
Aerialist allows players to redeploy their gliders. This is such a broken mechanic that Epic had to remove it when they decided to make it part of the game a few seasons ago.
Players who have it will be able to base themselves in the sky and basically do whatever they want.
Another addition will grant a Chug Cannon, which can be a horribly overwhelming skill for a team. In Solos, it’s harder to use because it takes up two inventory slots, but it’s still a surprisingly bankrupt skill.
Forecasting allows loopers to see the coming storm. This used to be something gamers had to buy from a NPC and it is for single use only. Now it’s an unbelievably broken booster.
It’s always active, so getting it early will allow gamers to see each stormy circle.
Many perks are good and only slightly useful, but others have the potential to win the game.
Many of these may end up being nerfed by Epic in this chapter to provide more balance, but if they don’t, they can be huge difference-makers.
