It’s good to remind readers that there are many food and other service organizations out there to help you if you’re an individual in need of food during the summer break. You can contact any of the following organizations that may be able to provide you with assistance:

More than 800 family vacations and trips over the next few months will be funded by the £600,000 ‘Britain for All’ fund. The fund will support parents, carers and young people going through difficult times to be able to go away, relax and enjoy a weekend in the UK.

Food and Child Care Fund Summer Vacation 2022 has now been allocated to Council Services as well as a range of volunteer organizations across Stirling to provide activities, food and childcare, to support the health of children and young people during the summer. WPD is inviting applications for the £500,000 Community Affairs Fund from organizations that can support families struggling to raise children over the summer holidays.

The company is the operator of the electricity distribution network for South Wales, the South West and the Midlands, so that’s where it is targeting its funding. You can check if your organization qualifies for its position.

The British Red Cross has set up a toll-free coronavirus helpline for people who are feeling lonely, anxious or finding it difficult to cope. Red Cross volunteers from the psychological and social health team are available to provide both practical and emotional support. They also connect people with additional support in their local area.

Feeding England is running a network of emergency food schemes across the UK. This protects children and their families from starvation. Hot meals and food packages are being offered through a combination of home delivery and collection. This ensures low-income families can prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
