Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have plenty of reasons to rejoice and celebrate this year. Starting from their wedding to their first movie together, Brahmastra, is finally released, and now with the news of them welcoming their first child. Alia Bhatt took the internet by storm when she announced her pregnancy last month.
Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting Shamshera adding that he wants to be close to his child as a father and do his duty alongside Alia.
He said, “Alia and I talked about it for a while, how we would share our responsibilities and how we would share our time. We grew up in a generation where our father was quite busy with work and was not with us, so more or less we were raised by our mother, so we were close to our mother. I want a different dynamic with my children, I also want them to be close to me. “
He’s been through a lot of emotions since the announcement, adding that he mentioned, “I’m so happy, excited and nervous. I’m scared too. But I’m grateful. I’m grateful for this point that I’ve never experienced that feeling in my life. I’ve been through a range of emotions. But this is an emotion that completely fills your heart.”
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has just finished filming for her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in Europe and was shot back to Mumbai last night.
Ranbir concluded by saying, “She’s back now after two months. We had a lot of talk and planning and we talked on the phone every day. Dreaming of the future but until now. the day it happens, I don’t know how much. will happen. But I’m just excited.”
