High lifeThe upcoming FPS-comedy from Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland and his development studio Squanch Games, has revealed its voice cast and features Rick & Morty alums, comedians stand-ups, sketch comedy legends, outstanding video game voice actors, and many other funny and talented people.
Roiland plays your first talking gun, the Kenny-like pistol (sounds pretty much like Morty). C’s JB Smoove Restrain Your Passion voices the talking pistol Gus. Comedian Betsy Sodaro plays Sweezy, the Halo-Needler-like gun you can see in ours exclusive game video 12 minutes long from the beginning of this week. Tim Robinson, from Netflix’s I Think You Should Leave, plays Creature. Sarah Silverman Show lead actress Laura Silverman voices Lizzie, while MadTV’s Dave Herman plays Gene, the alien at your house who gives you your bounty hunting missions. Bloodthirsty Knifey is played by YouTube animator Michael Cusack. Other notable names in the cast include Kevin McDonald, a member of the Kids in the Hall troupe, acclaimed comedian Maria Bamford, voice actor Nathan Drake Nolan North, Solar Opposites actor Thomas Middleditch, featured video game voice actresses Jennifer Hale and Tara Strong, etc. Check out some of these characters in the concept art gallery below.
High on Life will release on December 13 for PC and Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, including today’s availability in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
