While the Hogwarts Legacy aims to let you live out your wizarding world dreams, one thing it won’t let you do is play the magical sport of Quidditch.
Quidditch’s absence from the Hogwarts Legacy has been confirmed on The game’s official FAQ page. Luckily, the Hogwarts Legacy will still have tons of broomstick flying to give you the feeling of soaring in the sky.
“Quidditch is not playable in the Hogwarts Legacy,” the official FAQ says. “However, broomsticks for obstacle course challenges and broom racing are part of the game. Players can also fly broomsticks to explore new and familiar locations around Hogwarts Castle. “
Playable Quidditch is a thing of the past, and the sport even has its own game in the Quidditch World Cup.
The rest of the FAQ is well worth a read as it provides pretty in-depth insight into what fans can expect from the Hogwarts Legacy when it was released on February 10, 2023, including how many Hogwarts players can explore, the types of classes they can take, how leveling works, and more.
It also discusses the involvement of Harry Potter author JK Rowling, who has became notable in recent years for her disparaging comments. She was “not involved in the creation of the game, but as a creator of the wizarding world and one of the world’s greatest storytellers, her extraordinary writing ability is the foundation of all of it.” all projects in the Wizarding World.”
