Home security camera caught a stranger grabbing a 6-year-old boy in front of the kindergarten door
A Hamilton man allegedly tried to kidnap a 6-year-old girl from her front yard and it was all caught on camera. East Avenue in Hamilton. In the video, there is a man walking down the sidewalk. He stopped and touched her, then grabbed her in what looked like an attempt to drag her down the sidewalk. The kid screams and walks away. Deric Mcpherson, 33, of Hamilton is charged with gross sexual imposition and kidnapping. According to court documents, he “bent down and grabbed the (damaged) girl. The girl attempted to move away from the defendant. The defendant then grabbed the girl’s wrist and pulled her along. Pavement.” “All I heard was blood – screams over the fence,” said Mandie, the girl’s mother. We only identified her by her first name to protect the child’s identity. Mandie said she and husband Ricky had just stepped foot into the house. “I walked in, like, ‘What’s wrong? What’s up? ‘ She said, ‘Someone tried to kidnap me. Several men tried to arrest me, and he grabbed my private parts,” Mandie said. Ricky then decided he’d have better luck chasing the man he was with. says he’s never seen it before, in his car. “And he was trying to get in and out of alleys, through people’s yards trying to get away from me,” Ricky said. Ricky was in his car when Mcpherson tried to hide behind the car. Security camera footage shows the child dumping trash in a curbside bin outside the family home on East Avenue in Hamilton.

Mandie said she and her husband Ricky had just walked into their home.
“I walked in, like ‘What’s the matter? What’s the matter?’ She said, “Someone tried to kidnap me. Several men tried to get hold of me, and he grabbed my private parts,” Mandie said.
Mandie and Ricky try to run after the man. Then Ricky decides that he’ll have better luck chasing a man he says he’s never seen before, with his car.
“And he was trying to get in and out of alleys and through people’s yards trying to get away from me,” Ricky said. “The only thing that always runs through my mind is ‘I can’t let him do this to another kid.'”

Hamilton police arrested Mcpherson at the scene.
Mandie and Ricky said they had talked to their daughter about the strange danger before and were glad they did.
