“And those who see the dance are thought to be insane by those who can’t hear the music,” – Friedrich Nietzsche
Bitcoin and art can lead us away from the mechanical stronghold that the predatory, manipulative, and exploitative fiat reality imposes on us. Art is personal liberation and inherently disruptive. Bitcoin is a disruptive technology that does the same thing. How do we free someone whose monetary background is not free?
“To liberate the people,” is a powerful statement. We can guess with certainty what or who wants to be free. What happens when people are free? If we agree that Bitcoin and art need to free people from structures that oppress the fiat system, we have to be specific about the kind of freedom we want to achieve. The power of the art of liberating the people has always been a threat to any political, military and economic system. That power is suppressed by kings, governments and bureaucrats as much as it is manipulated in leading many revolutions – think Europe in the 1960s, 1980s and 1990s.
“You think you’re an individual, but are you really?” – Jiddu Krishnamurti
In art, “I” becomes “we”. It is a paradox that exists in art. An artist who is communicating work to the public and in doing so becomes part of a larger group. In that moment, the artist becomes “we” and we are one with the artist. Something similar exists in Bitcoin’s existence. With each block generated and node approval granted, a few becomes the plural embedded forever in the blockchain. The “I” in Bitcoin, even if it is seen as a utilitarian construct and sovereign individualism, has disappeared from the vocabulary. In Bitcoin it is always “we” because we are not a few but a combination of more than just one node/individual. That’s how we discovered that “we” is the path to human liberation.
“Consider your origins: You were not made to live like brutes, but to obey virtue and knowledge.” – Dante Alighieri
The fiat and culture systems are carnivores and machines. If we choose a culture of contemplation and creativity, the vast civil awakening latent within us can be transformed into a creative movement and a revival of human consciousness. The basis for it is that good money is bitcoin, and enlightening people is art. That is freedom. To be enlightened and to have money. That is how Bitcoin and art will liberate people. Why do we always and again and again need to build worst-case technology and money? We had new, different technology and the same means of communication and adoption. We have Bitcoin and art. Unfortunately, we see history as a story of the past, but we fail to understand that history itself is a narrative in perpetual motion. And we learned nothing. All has been written according to the cycle and the nature of the process. To completely transform our reality, we need to liberate people.
“Only after the disaster can we be resurrected. Only after you have lost everything are you free to do anything. Nothing is static, everything is evolving, everything is. disintegrating,”- Chuch Palahniuk, “Fighting Club”
Art will provide us with the vocabulary to understand the science of Bitcoin. Through art, we can approach the morality of Bitcoin. People will be freed through allegories and symbols. One can rightly assert that the fable itself is nothing more than a verbal symbol. Bitcoin is the symbol of an idea and that idea is freedom. Bitcoin gives a new identity to the freedom born of contemplation and creation. The idea of greater freedom reacts to the mechanical and predatory structures of the fiat system and fiat institutions. Bitcoin can free people to create a new reality using the language of art.
Bitcoin needs its own symbol. That symbolism is the future nature of Bitcoin’s existence.
If we remove that symbol from Bitcoin, we will be left with a mass of lifeless code and cold maths. Bitcoin proposes a new definition not only of monetary freedom, but of freedom in and of itself. The proposal is simple: Bitcoin is not issued and is not controlled by any government or financial institution. By being completely unregulated by anyone, Bitcoin is closer to the idea of energy. And energy is freedom.
As an untraceable entity, Bitcoin proposes a way for us to settle peacefully with each other through mutual agreement. That is freedom. This type of exchange can only occur between and among free people. The only real connection – even a spiritual connection – is between Bitcoin and art.
Freedom in the New Renaissance really existed everywhere at once on every node. Bitcoin and art inspire us equally by saying, “I don’t know,” and that’s the only way to be free. In learning, we open ourselves to the freedom to be and create. Bitcoin believes that everyone has the same opportunity to grow. It is freedom and that freedom cannot be achieved without your work and compassion. That freedom was the key to the New Renaissance.
The field of art is real. First, it comes to us, with its immaterial nature. To grasp art we need consciousness and free will. Consciousness and free will are not illusions.
Art is not an illusion.
Bitcoin is not an illusion.
Freedom is not an illusion.
