How will the SEC’s best players be judged in Madden

Around this time next year, EA Sports plans to re-release its popular NCAA Football game, so there’s no better time than heading into the season to rank the top 10 most valuable players in the game. each congress, according to Rivals’ national recruiting director. Adam G palm, with the same score as Madden. This is not an overall rating of the top 10 players but the top scorers in video games.

We start with the SEC.

99 – Will Anderson, Alabama

If the Heisman Trophy was given to the best player in college football instead of almost always the best offensive player, Anderson won it last season. The former five-star has 102 tackles, 17.5 hits and 34.5 saves. The Alabama linebacker/edge is basically unstoppable.

99 – Bryce Young, Alabama

Young’s stats last season were good and now the former five-star is more focused than ever after the loss Georgia in the national title game last season. His receptive corps may not be as polished this season but the Crimson Tide will still be great and with revenge on their minds.

Young throws 10 more touches Mississippi State‘S Will Rogers (second in the SEC) even though Young threw 193 fewer passes.

*****

97 – Kayshon Boutte, LSU

Healthy Boutte is Unstoppable Boutte. Leading the previous four high stars LSU in receiving yards (509) and touchdowns (nine) even though he only played in six games as the Tigers finished 6-7.

Had Boutte played all season at the same pace, he would have gotten over 1,000 yards with nearly 20 touchdowns. That would put him among the elite SEC and LSU recipients that were a mess last season.

95 – Brock Bowers, Georgia

As well as leading Georgia in most receiving categories last season, Bowers also set records for reception, receiving and touchdown positions. The former four-star star could be better planned by some defenses this season but he will still be a top target for Stetson Bennett like the Bulldogs want to repeat as national champions. Supposedly a top tight finish in college football, the Bowers are gearing up for another great season.

95 – Jalen Carter, Georgia

Eight Georgia defenders were included in the NFL Draft including the 1st pick Travon Walker and other early players Jordan Davis, Spin Walker, Devonte Wyatt and Lewis Cine. But rumor has it that Carter was Georgia’s best defensive player last season.

It’s hard to believe what the former four-star high will do now that he’s released. Maybe more doubles will come his way but Carter, who had 37 tackles including 8.5 losses with three encirclements and 30 rushes in midfield, Ready for a great season.

92 – Will Rogers, Mississippi State

Rogers isn’t one of the SEC’s top 10 players when it comes to NFL talent or potential, but these ratings are for who will be appreciated in college football video games – and Mississippi State throw the ball a lot.

Last season, Rogers threw the ball 683 times; The Bulldogs ran it 270 times all season. The three-year-old former star completed nearly 74% of his passes in 4,739 yards with 36 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Another year in the coach Mike LeachRogers’ offense might make Rogers more comfortable.

90 – Cedric Tillman, Tennessee

Tillman is completely missed out on the Rivals ranking as a high two star but to be fair, no Pac-12 or any other Power Five program is all that matters to the head. Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas. But the Volunteers swung and ran home.

Year 2 of Josh Heupelviolation with QB Hendon Hooker Returning will be huge for Tillman, who led the team last season with 64 catches for 1,081 yards and 12 touchdowns.

*****

89 – Eli Ricks, Alabama

The former five-star and No. 1 full-back in the 2020 division is arguably the top player in his position nationally and now with the Crimson Tide he can show it like never before. Ricks has length, playability, and he was a six pick machine in high school. A great year could come when Alabama wants to return to the national title game.

*****

88 – Nolan Smith, Georgia

The former five-star star really started to realize his potential with impressive performances in the win over the College Football Playoff Michigan and Alabama and now Smith should have done it as one of the key leaders of the Georgia defense this season.

Playing as a full-back or starting, Smith is someone like his former first-round teammates who can have a great season and fire up the draft board. Motivation is definitely there.

*****

87 – Jeremy Banks, Tennessee

Again, Banks may not be one of the SEC’s top 10 players but he is a processing machine and the first Tennessee player since 2015 to register more than 100 tackles. The former four-star has had 44 more tackles than any other player on the Vols roster and he has earned the team lead by sack.

If Tennessee is going to make a serious run to the top of the SEC East, the Banks will have a big say in the Vols’ success.
