“The head of PTI approved the proposal to hold the rally in Lahore instead of Islamabad amid concerns that the federal government could create obstacles,” the sources said.
Earlier, on August 6, PTI announced that it would hold a public meeting in Islamabad on August 14. The party then announced through its Twitter that it would hold a rally. on the country’s Independence Day.
