India slams Pakistan for Kashmir remarks, chides Germany too | India News

NEW DELHI: India beat Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto for raising the J&K issue in Germany, saying that the Union territory had been bearing the brunt of a campaign of terror for decades. India also reminds Germany that all “serious and dedicated” members of the global community have a responsibility to call for cross-border terrorism.
While Bilawal spoke about alleged human rights violations in Jmmu & Kashmir, her German counterpart Annalena Baerbock said after meeting with him that Germany also has a “role and responsibility” for the situation in Kashmir and, it supports “strongly the participation of UN to find peaceful solutions in the region”. The Government of India says that all serious and dedicated members of the global community have a role and responsibility to call for international terrorism, especially of a cross-border nature.
“The territory of the Union of India Jammu & Kashmir has been bearing the brunt of such a terrorist campaign for decades. This continues until now. Foreign nationals have been victims there, as well as in other parts of India,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi, adding that the United Nations Security Council and global anti-money laundering agency The FATF bridge is still hunting Pakistan-based terrorists involved in the horrific terrorist attack. 11/26 Mumbai attacks.
“When nations fail to recognize such dangers, either out of self-interest or indifference, they undermine the cause of peace, not advance it. They also cause serious injustice to the victims of terrorism,” said the Indian official. This is not the first time Baerbock has delved into what India believes is purely a bilateral issue. She said during a visit to Islamabad in June this year that she supported resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
She said that the constructive approach and confidence building measures between Pakistan and India are the key to improving the bilateral relationship and the solution to this problem.
