Millie Bobby Brown has taken on a role other than actress and businessman: college student. Brown revealed to Attractive in its September issue that she was enrolled at Purdue University in Indiana and was taking classes online. She’s working on human services, a program where “you learn about the system and how to help young people,” Brown said.
That decision came in part from her own journey to figure out what looked healthy in her life. Brown discussed how in January 2021 she left an “unhealthy situation” with her ex-boyfriend and TikTok star Hunter Ecimovic and is working on filming. Strange things. Ecimovic continued to make offensive remarks about Brown on his social media in July 2021. Brown’s representatives released a statement condemning the activity, speaking through E!“Mr. Ecimovic’s comments on social media are not only dishonest but also irresponsible, offensive and hateful. Instead of engaging in a public discussion with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to make sure he stops this behavior once and for all.”
Brown reflects on this period, saying, “It was a healing year. When you are publicly humiliated in this way, I feel out of control and helpless. Walking away and knowing that I am worthy of everything and that this person is not taking anything from me, I feel so strong. It feels like my life has finally turned a page and I’ve actually ended a chapter that feels too long. “
“Ultimately, all I want to do in my career is help the young girls and young people out there know that I will get through anything too,” she continued. “I am not a perfect person selling skin care products and [who is] In Strange things. I completely made the wrong decisions.”
