Pakistan captain Babar Azam and his open partner Mohammad Rizwan socializing with Bangladeshi wicket players Liton Das after the T20I tri-series match between the two teams in Christchurch on Thursday (October 13).
Pakistan beat Bangladesh by seven points in the match held at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. Hit the first ball after winning the pitch, Bangladesh put up a number of 173 to 6 across the board. Litton Das scored the highest with 69 points 42, while captain Shakib Al Hasan contributed 68 points 42.
In response, Pakistan went home with a 19.5 pass. Opening Azam and Rizwan co-star with Batman again, adding 101 in 12.3 voiceovers. While the Pakistan captain scored 55 out of 40 passes, Rizwan was named Man of the Match for his 56 69 tackles.
After the game, the official Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Twitter controller shared a clip of Rizwan and Babar giving Das batting tips.
Twitterati took the occasion to troll Pakistani cricketers, with many pointing out that the Bangladeshi smash had a better hit rate in the match than the Pakistani opener. Here are some funny reactions from the microblogging site:
@TheRealPCB It seems that only Afghanistan is fighting Pakistan. others like friendly relations

While Babar and Rizwan are among the top ranked players in T20I cricket, they are often criticized by fans and pundits for their “slow” strike speed in the format.
What Babar and Rizwan told Das
During the interaction, Pakistan’s captain Babar advised Das not to pay too much attention to his critics. He was heard saying:
“Your confidence will increase if you are less likely to hear harsh criticism. As soon as you hear someone mention something about you, your mind will immediately change.”
On the other hand, Rizwan urges Das to put in extra effort if he wants to do well consistently. He stated:
“Success is impossible without hard work. When you do anything different, your appearance changes. That’s how you make a name for yourself.”
With Bangladesh out, Pakistan and New Zealand will meet in the three-series final in Christchurch on Friday.
