Jeffrey Epstein Henchwoman Ghislaine Maxwell received a relatively small prison sentence for sex trafficking!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Well, at least there’s a little modus operandi for many of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein today… but is it enough??

On Tuesday Ghislaine Maxwell, the right-hand woman and sex worker of the notorious billionaire, was sentenced to prison for participating in his sex trafficking ring of minors. In December, she was found guilty of 5 very serious sex trafficking counts – and could be sentenced to 65 years in prison!

How much hard time has she really gone through? 20 YEARS.

It’s not a small amount of time, but when you consider crimes like the sex trafficking of minors and transportation of minors with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activityyou can understand why it’s less than many people would like.

The crowd seeking a stern sentence included several of Epstein and Maxwell’s victims – many of whom showed up in court to watch. In the victims’ accounts, several detailed what was done to them as young women – and its long-term impact on their mental health. Sarah Ransome described a “dungeon of sex hell”, saying:

“I’m nothing more than a sex toy with a heartbeat and a soul to entertain Epstein, Maxwell and others.”

She revealed that she attempted suicide twice after what she had been through. Elizabeth Stein said she had to have an abortion after being raped “countless times.”

Prosecutors are also hoping for more, asking the judge for at least 30 years due to “a complete lack of remorse”. A victim known only as Kate agrees, stating that “Maxwell’s lack of remorse and blatant disclaimer is her ultimate insult”:

“She didn’t apologize and she will do it again.”

Maxwell, who has always denied any wrongdoing, has only asked for four years – arguing that she is not a danger to the public. The convict herself told the court, saying she was “misled” by Epstein:

“I realize I have been found guilty of aiding Jeffrey Epstein in committing these crimes. My association with Epstein will forever stain me. It’s the biggest regret in my life that I’ve ever met him.”

Finally, the Judge Alison Nathan chose a lower sentence – albeit at least four years. But how much will she really serve in those 20 years? We’ll have to see.

What do YOU think about sentencing??
