The Jockey Club is eliminating formal dress codes at all of its courses to make horse racing “more accessible and inclusive”.
People are undeterred to dress modestly if they wish, but the club said race participants can now wear what makes them “most comfortable and confident”.
It came about after reviewing the rules and feedback from fans.
