JoJo Siwa EXPLOSES the backlash she gets from her recruiter for coming out – But Nickelodeon flatly refuses!
JoJo Siwa is sharing how it feels to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community while having such a young fan base.
in a new one TikTok debuting Wednesday, the dancer criticized an unnamed recruiter for having a negative reaction to her debut in 2021. While dancing to the dance Coach Meghan‘S MomThe text on the screen explains:
“In January 2021, I went out into the world. The company I work for told me they needed to have a meeting with me ASAP. During this meeting, the company’s PRESIDENT asked me negatively ‘what would you say to your young demographic?’ It took me a second to process what I was just asked, and then… I answered… ‘FACT’”

This was clearly not the answer her boss wanted to hear, she said:
“I have never seen a man roll his eyes that far. It went silent so I started talking again… I said ‘I won’t hide who I am and who I love from whom, SPECIAL from the next generation.’ I don’t like that very much.”
But she doesn’t regret her decision, noting:
“A LOT of adults say to me ‘I wish I had someone like you when I was younger.’ It always reminds me that I did the right thing and never let ANYONE change who you are.”
In the caption, the 19-year-old said if she had to do the meeting again, she would simply make Meghan watch the blast. LOLz! W-ch-check it out!

Interestingly, one of JoJo’s most notable recruiters is now speaking out and insisting that this hate is not coming from them! Nickelodeon clap back on the video in a statement to E! News on Thursday, revealed:
“We don’t know what incident or encounter JoJo is referring to, but it certainly didn’t happen at Nickelodeon. We have appreciated and supported JoJo since the first day we were in a relationship and we still do to this day.”
To demonstrate how they have supported — and continue to support — of Dancing mom alum, Nick has announced that they have curated the PRIDE Capsule Collection with JoJo due out in May with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit GLSEN, an organization that supports LGBTQ+ youth in schools. Wonderful!

That said, it’s not like the singer hasn’t had issues with the company before. In the time she’s appeared, she’s really made Nick explode several times! First, she stated that the company doesn’t allow her to use new songs in her movie Team J on her DREAM TRAVEL in September 2021. She was Twitter To express his disappointment, write:
“These are MY songs, MY vocals, MY writings. Does this seem fair??? There’s no reason this music shouldn’t be included. Working for a company as a real human being treated like a brand is just fun until it’s gone.”
Oh. Not the best view for Nick…
Things escalated last April when she revealed that she had not been invited to attend Children’s Choice Award – despite the fact that she was nominated for Favorite Social Music Star! Totally sus. While it’s great that the duo is teaming up for a new collaboration, it sucks that JoJo has to deal with so much negativity while living her truest life!
