Kai Sotto shows courage as Adelaide 36ers beat Phoenix Suns in NBA preseason

MANILA, Philippines — Kai Sotto hosted his first NBA debut on Monday (Manila time).
The Philippines Center put up solid numbers to help the Adelaide 36ers stun with the Phoenix Suns, 134-124, in a pre-season game at the Footprint Center in Arizona.
Sotto raked in 11 points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 18 minutes of play for the 36ers.
The 20-year-old Sotto showed his versatility and efficiency, taking 3/6 from the field, including 1 of 2 from long range, and taking all 4 free throws.
Craig Randall and Robert Franks combined for 67 points to lead Adelaide, who shot a clip of 24 of 43 blistering spots from the city centre.
Randall buried nine of the triplets while the Franks sank six from that range.
Antonius Cleveland added 22 points for the 36ers, who will face their former player Josh Giddey and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
Cameron Payne overcame the Suns with 23 points while big man DeAndre Ayton and striker Mikal Bridges scored 22 points.
