Kaylee Goncalves’ alleged stalker found by police at University of Idaho

We learned two big things about University of Idaho murder on the weekend.

Victims Kaylee Goncalves‘ the family gave numerous interviews, ultimately revealing a very good reason why police might suspect her of being the intended target: her death was “significantly more brutal” than her death. with the deaths of three of her friends, Xana, Ethan Chapinand Madison Mogen.

They also admitted to being very disappointed with Moscow officeare handling the case they are talking to private detectives about it. An important area of frustration? The removal of suspicious characters in what they consider to be premature.

One such person is the alleged Kaylee stalker, a rumor that has been fueled by internet sleuths. Apparently the 21-year-old told friends in mid-October, a month before the murder, about a guy who had been stalking her for a bit. Apparently she went to a local business and caught the attention of two men – one of whom may or may not follow her.

It was a scary thought considering what happened next… but the police ruled out both men. Law enforcement sources flood in TMZ that the men spoke to police, admitting that they were trying to meet the women on the premises. However, there was nothing, police said, to tie them to the murders.

This is consistent with the Goncalves’ rejection of the stalker hypothesis. Her father Steve Goncalves told national news:

“She’s a pretty girl, her friends are really pretty, so they attract attention wherever they go… Whether it’s someone who follows her around. where or not, maybe not.”

It’s an area they agree with the police so far.

But they have expressed frustration in clearing out the suspicious people. Kaylee’s mother, Kristi Goncalvesspeak:

“I just feel like there were a few individuals that were deleted so quickly that it probably shouldn’t have been.”

So far the police have clarified:

  • two surviving roommates who were left alone in the attack
  • a man is seen in surveillance video standing near Kaylee and Maddie as they grab a late-night meal from a food truck
  • drivers driving victims home from partying
  • friend received a lot of calls from Kaylee that night

Which of these is still gnawing on the parent? Is it someone else we don’t know? We will be closely monitoring the case as more developments become available. But for now, the stalker theory seems to have been debunked quite clearly. If someone is spying on any of the victims, it’s clearly not someone they know.
