KBL: Rhenz Abando, Anyang win 8th in a row

MANILA, Philippines—Anyang KGC scored its eighth straight win after overtaking Daegu KOGAS Pegasus, 70-64, despite a quiet opening by Rhenz Abando in the Korean Basketball League at the Daegu Gymnasium in Sunday.
Abando scored just three points after 17 minutes but had four rebounds and two steals for table top Anyang, who climbed to 31-11.
SJ Belangel scored eight points for Daegu (13-27) in the loss.
Dave Ildefonso continued to play with limited minutes as Suwon KT Sonicboom battered Jeonju KCC Egis, 86-73, at Suwon KT Arena.
Logging in just seven minutes, Ildefonso finished with just one point and one assist. Suwon improves to 18-23.
Justin Gutang barely played well in Changwon LG Sakers’ 94-84 match against Seoul SK Knights at Jamsil Student Arena.
