Man dressed as UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson being chased by police, video goes viral
A man dressed as UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson entertained cricket fans on the second day of the third match and also the final between England and New Zealand by running through the stands in while being chased by men dressed as policemen.
The incident took place at the Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds, England. A viral video filmed in the stands shows a cricket lover dressed as Mr Johnson, wearing a yellow wig, blue tie and white shirt with the words “Please Vote Boris 4 No 10” on the back . The short clip shows the man being chased by the rest of his friends, who are dressed in police uniforms.

The clip captures the scene of the group walking along the border. In the background, the crowd can also be heard cheering.
Based on Indy 100, the video relates to the recent Partygate scandal, which saw Mr Johnson become the first sitting Prime Minister to be found in breach of the law. The Metropolitan Police investigated 12 different law-breaking parties organized in Downing Street and Whitehall during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is said to have attended six of them and was even fined at his 2020 birthday party. Despite facing a vote of no confidence earlier this month in the wake of the scandal, Mr Johnson has managed to survive.
Back to the video, since it was shared, the video has taken the internet by storm. It has garnered more than 470,000 views and thousands of likes and comments. One user joked: “Can’t be the real Boris Johnson. Police are working hard to arrest him.” Others simply called the video “awesome” and “brilliant” and flooded the comments section with smiley emojis.
