Mario + Rabbids: A Ray of Hope Agreement
This Nintendo Switch exclusive is the sequel to the 2017 Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle game. But instead of doing the copy-paste work, Ubisoft brings a bunch of big changes and improvements to the sequel. of this crossover. The afterlife is expansive and riddled with puzzles. Battles are more dynamic this time around, thanks in large part to a new movement mechanic that lets you cross the map quickly, giving you plenty of time in your battle strategy.
Also, things mix with the addition of Sparks, creatures you collect and equip to expand your character’s set of abilities. Spark lets you do everything from add elemental charges to your attacks to revive fallen teammates. You can equip two Sparks per character, creating smart and powerful combos, if you play your cards right.
in us Review Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of HopeCritic Dan Stapleton gave it a 9/10, writing:
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope takes the excellent battle strategy ideas of Kingdom Battle and goes completely wild with them. Its goofy characters still have the ability to bounce off each other, but they now no longer have rigid grids and are amazingly customizable thanks to the combo and combo Sparks that give them new powers and reliable. Between battles, you can take a breather in the huge and sprawling open world, solve light-hearted puzzles and baffle yourself by its quirky story. It’s been fun to play an ambitious sequel that fixes all the major issues I had with the original, and then some.
