Mary Mara dies: ER actress drowns in New York River at age 61
American TV star Mary Mara has passed away. She is 61 years old.
Mara – who has been a successful actress with over 81 credits to her name and is known for her work in Saturday night of Mr., Ray Donovan and er – presumed dead at St. Lawrence in Cape Vincent, New York, on Sunday local time.
Every TMZshe died while swimming in the river, and her body was discovered by soldiers around 8 a.m. after they received a call about the possibility of drowning.

According to the publication, citing officials, Mara visited her sister in town and during the trip went swimming.
During the preliminary investigation, no signs of foul play were detected, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause of death.
Her body was taken to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.

Mara is known for her many works throughout Hollywood, especially her role as Loretta Sweet in er in nine episodes from 1995 to 1996.
She also starred alongside Billy Crystal in the 1992 film Saturday night of Mr..
Actress credits also include roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Star Trek: Enterprise, Nip/Tuck, and The Practice.
Her final acting credit is her 2020 role in Break evenand before that, in 2013, she starred as Mrs. Sullivan on Ray Donovan and Nance on Shameless.

Praises for Mara flooded social media.
“RIP Mary Mara, horrible”, one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Working with Mary on a movie”, another person Twitter claimed user. “She was very supportive of everyone on set and was very nice to me. This is very sad.”
