MEMA Seeks Emergency Personnel Contracts During Jackson Water Crisis

Contracted agency will oversee operation and maintenance at Jackson’s water treatment facilities

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency that oversees the Jackson Water Crisis, at the request of its federal partners, has issued a requirement for operational and maintenance capacity at the city of Jackson water facilities. . Unified Command is seeking a 12-month emergency procurement contract to staff the operation, maintenance and management of the OB Curtis Water Treatment Facility, the JH Rarell Water Treatment Facility, the tanks Jackson’s reservoir and well facilities.
