Missing Anderson man found alive


An Anderson man who was reported missing Sunday was found alive Tuesday just a few hundred feet from his front yard, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. Delegates said Tony Boseman was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Sunday while sitting on the porch on Boseman Street. They say Boseman has dementia and type 2 diabetes. He was found around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in a wooded ditch on Boseman Road, a few hundred meters from his home. Officials said Boseman was airlifted to the hospital for examination. Family learns that Tony Boseman has been found alive

He was found around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in a wooded ditch off Boseman Road, a few hundred feet from his home. Officials said Boseman was taken to the hospital for a checkup.

“I feel relieved,” said Boseman’s wife, Katherine Boseman, “I am so grateful. And we are all blessed.”

Boseman’s family had gathered outside his home for prayers Tuesday when they received word he had been found.

Family told us Tony Boseman was late Chadwick Boseman’s Uncle.

Chadwick attended TL Hanna High School in Anderson.
