NFL Insider reveals new contender has joined the fray
Odell Beckham Jr. is yet to play this season and has not yet signed a contract with a team. He’s recovering from an ACL tear in the Super Bowl, a match where he’s on track to potentially win MVP. Although there is no contract, the former Los Angeles Rams wideout has a suitor.
An NFL insider believes a new team has made them the real contenders for Beckham Jr.
According to Heavythe Buffalo Bills now a real competitor to get his service. They quote NFL analyst Ian Rapoport:
“The Bucs, Packers, Bills and Chiefs have all been discussed as possible suitors to Beckham, although the money the wide receiver secures in a multi-year contract could rule out some possibilities. “
He is also said to be in the building with New York Giants, signaling a potential reunion there, so they can’t rule it out either. Broad receivers are considering a mid-November return.
That will make him available past the trade deadline, so any team that needs wide receivers or real opponents can look at him afterwards. The trade deadline will show those teams are looking for someone, but if they attack, they can turn to him.
Those suitors may want to try and sign him sooner rather than later, or else there will only be more competition for Beckham Jr.’s services.
Which teams does Odell Beckham Jr fit into?
The all-star receiver will be useful to any team, but those teams are particularly interested in him. The Green Bay Packers is in dire need of wide receiver help this year, so he would fit in as a top potential player on the depth leaderboard.
The same can be said for Chief of Kansas City, although their large studio is not so carpeted. They don’t have a real top wide Tireek Hill pitch, so Beckham Jr could well be a prime target in the wide studio there.
Invoices and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are different stories. Both teams have special wide collector corps. Buccaneers is run by Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jonesand the previous LSU product would be a fourth wide receiver which is completely unfair.
The Bills have Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie. The former ram would probably fit three wide receivers there.
He has a unique opportunity to either go to one team and be their top target or go to another team and turn their wide studio into an extremely scary match.
