Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered arrives on Xbox today

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is finally available on Xbox and Game Pass today, after years of beloved JRPGs on PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Announcement in Tokyo Game ShowThe surprise release of Ni No Kuni on Xbox will be followed next year with its sequel, Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom.

The PlayStation-exclusive version has been gradually available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, but is made even more widely available thanks to the Xbox version and is free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

First released in 2011, Ni No Kuni was instantly noticed thanks to the art style that looks like a Studio Ghibli movie. It’s for good reason, of course, like Animation studio My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away produced each animated sequence of the game.

In our original 9/10 reviewIGN said: “With Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Level-5 delivered something special: a JRPG like your games, looking like the games of tomorrow and inspired from old classics- Loved by high school JRPG fans.”

Ryan Dinsdale is a freelancer on IGN. He would talk about The Witcher all day.
