Now there are filmmakers who see my potential – Elli AvrRam
Elli AvrRam is increasingly making a mark in the Indian film industry. The actress has always been praised for her dance moves but is now critically acclaimed for her good performance in her Tamil film, Naane Varuven, in which she co-starred with Dhanush. The actress also participated Bye with Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Rashmika Mandanna and Pavail Gulati.
Naane Varuven and Bye are certainly deviations from her acting roles of the past few years. It’s clear that the actress wants to be known for her skills, versatility and unafraid to take risks so people know her as more than just a pretty face. And it seems to have paid off – she’s received critical acclaim for playing Madhuri in Naane Varuven and the ambitious and fierce Daisy Bhalla in Goodbye.
“I’m very happy with the feedback I’ve received over the past few years. Now, there are filmmakers who really see my potential and give me performance-oriented roles. And I know that very well. The journey has worked out” I had to turn down many offers that came my way, just to stop typing, and with that patience for the day ahead,” Elli said.
