A man suspected of killing four people in Ohio who he believes has controlled his mind using “telepathy” has been arrested.
According to Sheriff Butler Township John Portera two-day manhunt for the 39-year-old man Stephen Marlow ended Saturday after the Lawrence Police Department in Kansas caught him around 10 p.m. The arrest came after a man allegedly raged about 650 miles away in Butler Township, Ohio – killing an elderly, 82-year-old couple Clyde Knox and 78 years old Eva Knoxand a mother, a daughter, 41 years old Sarah Anderson and 15 years old Kayla Anderson.

Follow Dayton Daily News, police officers were dispatched to the area around 11:45 a.m. Friday following reports of shots being fired. When law enforcement arrived on the scene, four victims were found at “multiple crime scenes” with gunshot wounds. Local outlets reported that the victims were found in two separate homes where they lived, one of which was on the same street as the home owned by Marlow’s parents. Each victim was declared dead at the scene by Butler Township Fire Department.
At that time, the police warned about Facebook that whoever spotted Marlow, who fled the scene, to “do not approach him as he is still potentially armed and dangerous.” They added in a follow-up post on Saturday:
“Stephen Marlow remains the prime suspect. We do not have current information to lead us to believe that others have engaged in these horrendous acts. After the shooting, it appears that Stephen Marlow was driving to Interstate 70 and heading West. At this point, we believe he has left Ohio. Law enforcement agencies in many states have been notified of this and are on high alert.”
What an unimaginable tragedy…
Porter says they are trying to determine the motive and whether “mental illness plays a role”. However, a viral video on social media of Marlow appears to provide his explanation of the gruesome murder, in which he identifies himself as a “targeted individual” and victim. cause of “mind control”. He says in the clip:
“I will launch the first counterattack against mind control in human history. I want to be clear, this will not be an active shooting event. I will execute some people responsible for activating active shooters. If I survive, please visit me in prison, just to see the man you almost knew again. … I would die to expose this. … If I could help another targeted individual fight telepathy, the sacrifice would be worth it. “
Police chief noted above Facebook Saturday that investigators were “well aware that a video of Mr. Marlow had appeared on the internet.” You can watch the full video (below):
