Pak’s ex-PM Imran Khan’s helicopter makes emergency landing in Rawalpindi due to technical snag

ISLAMABAD: PakistanPrime Minister was overthrown Imran KhanMy helicopter made an emergency landing in Rawalpindi on Saturday due to technical problems.
In a statement released on Twitter, Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party said he was on his way to Bani Gala from Dera Ismail Khan town in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa when the helicopter made an emergency landing near the village of Adiala in Rawalpindi due to a technical problem.
Khan then left for his Banigala mansion near Islamabad by road, the party said.
Khan visited Dera Ismail Khan to distribute cash checks to flood affected people.
Last month, a plane carrying the former prime minister returned to Islamabad shortly after takeoff due to poor weather conditions over the weekend.
