Pitt ‘Abanikanda broke the school’s fast record with 320 yards


Pitt ran again Israel Abanikanda had a game that won the record books on Saturday 45-29 victory over Virginia Tech.

Abanikanda averaged 8.9 yards per take in the game against Virginia Tech, dashing for 320 yards and six touchdowns in 36 runs.

In the fourth inning, Abanikanda surpassed the ACC record for points in style, breaking a touchdown at 80 yards to claim a 16-point win.
