The couple reported stolen jewelry worth $150,000, including an engagement ring, wedding band, diamond ring, diamond bracelet and diamond necklace. They say he also stole a green ESP LTD guitar, a black diaper bag, an Amazon Kindle tablet, a set of keys, snacks, and Welch chips.
Police said the suspect also left some of his own belongings to replace the ones he stole.
Officers found the suspect’s black backpack in the backyard where he entered the home. Inside the backpack, investigators found a pink iPad, a roll of bloody toilet paper and other items. It is not clear if the blood belongs to the suspect.
Detectives were unable to get any fingerprints from the house. They are still working to identify the suspect.
