Prince of Persia remake is not canceled, but Ubisoft is refunding pre-orders


Ubisoft has provided a update about long procrastination Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remakereassure fans that the match is not cancelled.

In the update, Ubisoft confirmed that The Sands of Time Remake is still in development at Ubisoft Montreal. However, Ubisoft started canceling pre-orders for the game, saying, “Since the game is currently unavailable release date, existing pre-orders have been canceled and refunds if applicable. ”

The publisher says pre-orders “may reopen” once the game’s new release date is announced. Ubisoft also said there are no plans to remake any other Prince of Persia titles.

Since it announced in September 2020Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has delayed three separates time. Along the way, Ubisoft has transferred the game to Ubisoft Montreal, author of the Sands of Time trilogy. The game was originally developed at Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai.

The Prince of Persia remake was delayed for the last time in Ubisoft’s FY23. When it was first announced, it was in development for PS4, Xbox One, and PC and was said to cost $39.99. We don’t know if any of those details will change due to delays and extra years of development.
