Chief of Kansas City midfielder Patrick Mahomes Of course one of the best players in the NFL. He’s won a Super Bowl, an MVP award, and has been named to the Pro Bowl every year he starts the tournament. He also has one of the best records in the league, winning 50 games in just 63 appearances.
He has a resume to suit anyone and he threw 151 touchdowns and 18,991 yards in just four years as a starter. In 2018, he won his MVP award and threw 50 touchdowns, an achievement only matched by legends Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
However, he doesn’t always have it on his own. Although he played well most Sundays, there was a time when he had a horror performance.

#3 – vs Jacksonville Jaguars, 2018
Mahomes didn’t have his best game of his first year as a starter as the captain faced the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite Kansas City winning 30-14, the Texas Tech product completed only 22 of 38 passes. While he made it past 313 yards, he didn’t pass for a touchdown, instead throwing two interceptions.
He finished the day with a passer rating of just 62.7, and was just slightly ahead of the opposing bench midfielder that day, Blake Bortles. Mahomes will admit he was lucky that the Captain’s defense was in good shape that day, hitting five sacks and two interceptions.
#2 – vs Denver Broncos, 2021
One of the worst games of his career came last season, when the captains faced their opponents, Dancer broncos. The captain won 22-9, but their midfielder made only 184 yards, completing just 15 of the 29 passes. His completion rate is just 51.7%, and on top of that, he only achieved a passer rating of 57.3, the lowest of his career, according to statmuse.com.
He made a touchdown, but it’s rare to see Mahomes end a day without a passing touch, a feat that has only happened six times in his career for now.
#1 – vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 2020
One game that comes to mind when it comes to the worst game of Patrick Mahomes’ career is Super Bowl LV. In this game, the Chiefs were taken down on September 31 by Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Mahomes was forced throughout the game, as he made only 270 passes, no touch and two interceptions. He was sacked three times and sought out by Buccaneers defenders in every game. The Chiefs’ offensive line collapsed in a big game and the quarterback had to run for his life.
His passer rating was just 52.3 as he completed just 26 of his 49 passes as Kansas City fell in Miami.
