Rings of Power Online Free – The Hollywood Reporter
Today is a big day for fantasy fanatics. Rings of Power launches September 1 on Amazon Prime Video and is highly anticipated (and very expensive) Lord of the Rings The sequel series soon received critical acclaim.
Adapted from JRR Tolkien’s book series, Rings of Power Set in the Second Age – thousands of years before the events of Hobbits and Lord of the Rings – and bringing new and familiar characters to the small screen. Created by Patrick McKay and John Payne, the first season of the Amazon Studios original series will span eight episodes and star Benjamin Walker as the Goblin King Gil-Galad, Morfydd Clark as the young Galadriel, Robert Aramayo as young Elrond, Charles Edwards as Elf Prince Celebrimbor, Owain Arthur as Dwarven Prince Durin IV and Maxim Baldry as Isildur.
Joining the cast with new characters are Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows, Nazanin Boniadi as Bronwyn, Ismael Cruz Cordova as Arondir, Daniel Weyman as The Stranger, Sophie Nomvete as Dwarven Princess Disa and Charlie Vickers as Halbrand, among others.
According to the show’s diary, the series “will take viewers back to an era when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell, unlikely heroes were tested, hoped to be. hung by the finest ropes and the greatest villain ever oozing out of Tolkien’s pen threatening to cover the world in darkness. Set in an era of relative peace, the film follows a group of characters, both familiar and new, as they face a terrifying re-emergence of evil in Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of the capital Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will create legacies that last long after they’ve gone.”
Amazon spent $465 million on the series’ first season, which was filmed in New Zealand. The e-commerce giant also plans to shoot five potential seasons and possible spin-off series in the country.
The first Ring of Power The trailer was dropped during the Super Bowl in February, and the main trailer was released on July 14 after an exclusive preview period for Amazon Prime members. Subscribers also tried their luck by winning one of 20 exclusive invites to join Ring of Power world premiere in London.
