Scarlet/Violet’s 1,000th Pokémon Looks Like a Crypto Mascot
The crazy boys at GameFreak have done it again. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet push series’ Overall Pokédex into four shapes, and the 1,000th special Pokémon turns out to be a gold coin surfer with a fanny pack called Gholdengo. Will it sell me crypto? That is it perform of cryptocurrencies?? I’m eager to find out.
I first learned about Gholdengo are from IGN, who noted the coin entity’s striking resemblance to General Mills’ cereal mascot but otherwise praised it. It turns out that Gholdengo is an evolved form of Gimmighoul, a Dungeons & DragonsChests that mimic the style revealed by Nintendo first month. How evolution takes place is a real miracle. YouTuber nickcucc describe it as“Probably one of the most tedious but radical developments you will ever go through in your entire life.”
When you defeat a Gimmighoul, it will drop gold coins. Once you’ve picked up 1,000, your Gimmighoul will evolve into Gholdengo on the next level. “Its body appears to be made up of 1,000 coins,” the Pokédex entry reads. “This Pokémon gets along well with others and is quick to make friends with anyone.”
I’m sure about that To be quickly make friends. Now you are feeding Gholdengo Bocadillo de Jamón, later it is telling you how you can make the Dengo Coin farm profitable at 16% and you should buy it at a lower price. FTX token just exploded. Web 3.0 will not exist on its own. Now be a good Pokémon trainer and drop those TMs for some NFTs.
G/O Media can receive commission
To the extent that Gholdengo looks like a walking Ponzi scheme, that’s a low testament to the series itself. constant durability over decades. Pokémon is too big to fail. scarlet and Violet‘S performance problem can’t stop it from becoming most pre-ordered games In Franchising history. So what if the series’ 1,000th creature looks like it just returned from creating DeFi TikToks at Burning Man?
At the end of the day, for better or worse, millions of people, myself included, will do whatever it takes to get another chance to catch these. lovely disgust and run them through likespreadsheet math so confusing it will make even your H&R Bcrying accounting lock. Even if the Pokémon in question is a letter lockChain, ice cream cone, or in this case Gholdengo. I’m gonna catch a lot of these damn things, and we’ll organization our diamond hand until the sea rises and swallows us.
